Pacific Solutions Hosting: Remove Access to the Pacific Solutions Hosted Environment

Windows Users

Uninstall FortiClient VPN

1. Close FortiClient VPN if it is currently open.
2. Click the Start button.
3. Type Control Panel and open it.
4. Click Programs and Features.
5. Locate FortiClient VPN or FortiClient in the program list.
6. Select it and click Uninstall.
7. Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.
8. Restart your computer if prompted.

Delete the RDP Shortcut

1. Go to the folder where you saved the RDP shortcut.
2. Locate the RDP file provided to you by Pacific Solutions.
3. Right-click the file and select Delete.
4. If the shortcut is also on your Desktop, delete that copy as well.
5. Empty the Recycle Bin if you want to remove it completely.

U Drive Removal

1. Open File Explorer.
2. In the left pane, select This PC.
3. Find Pacific Solutions (U:) under Network locations or Devices and drives.
4. Right-click Pacific Solutions (U:).
5. Click Disconnect.
6. Open File Explorer.
7. Browse to C:\
8. Locate the folder Pacific Solutions
9. Right-click the folder and select Delete
10. Empty the Recycle Bin if you want to remove it completely

Mac Users

Uninstall FortiClient VPN

1. Quit FortiClient VPN if it is running.
2. Open Applications.
3. Locate FortiClient VPN or FortiClient.
4. Drag it to the Trash, or right-click and choose Move to Trash.
5. Enter your Mac password if prompted.
6. Empty the Trash if you want to remove it completely.
7. If your Mac has a FortiClient icon in the top menu bar, make sure the application is fully closed before deleting it.

Delete the RDP Shortcut / Remote Desktop Connection

1. Open Microsoft Remote Desktop.
2. Locate the saved Pacific Solutions remote desktop connection.
3. Right-click it or use the menu option to Delete or Remove the saved desktop.
4. If you also saved the original .rdp file in Downloads or on your Desktop, delete that file too.
5. Empty the Trash if desired.
