Turning Off Read-only Status on FloorRight Files.

If FloorRight shuts down unexpectedly or does not have a chance to completely save a file the FloorRight file might be set automatically to a Read Only Status. In most cases the steps below you can see how to turn off the Read-only designation and then you should be able to open up the file in FloorRight normally as long as the file is not corrupted.

1. Navigate to the FloorRight File in File Explorer.
2. Right click on the file and open up Properties.
   
1. You might have to select More Options then Properties in newer versions of Windows.

3. In the Properties menu on the General tab you will see the Read Only Selection:

4. Click on the Check Mark to unselect Read-only then select Apply and OK to exit.

5. Now you should be able to open up the FloorRight File normally.
   
6. You will probably need to resave the file but you can save over the original with the same file name if desired.
