Overview
Google Workspace will use two phases to enforce OAuth. On June 15, 2024, new accounts cannot use basic authentication. Beginning September 2024, Google Workspace will enforce OAuth as a more secure way to protect users’ usernames and passwords. Third-party applications, such as Pacific Solutions, are required to follow this standard. This article applies to both JobRunner and FloorManager system.
Process
Google will be turning off SMTP, IMAP, and POP for basic authentication. OAuth will need to be enabled. Pacific Solutions uses a 360Works plug-in to add email functionality to JobRunner and FloorManager systems. This integration will require Google API Keys and an OAuth Consent screen to be configured for your Google account. The below link will instruct you on how to set these up for your Google account.

Important notations:
· You may need to rely on your IT to assist you, as the OAuth Authentication setup is outside of Cyncly-Pacific Solutions software.
· Important: Verify 360Works.com is filled in for the Authorized Domains. This is required for OAuth redirects
From FloorManager/JobRunner>Navigator>Admin>API Services
From the API screen, enter the information for the Google OAuth near the bottom of the screen.
