The Hourly Labour Matrix is designed to help you cost the hours to the job of installers who are not Subcontractors. It is often used for prevailing wage/government jobs. This article will assist you in setting up the Hourly Labour Matrix.
In-House Installer Set Up
The following steps outline the setup of Installers on Payroll, not Subcontracted 1099 employees.
Hourly Labor Matrix Setup
The Hourly Labour Matrix is designed to help you cost the hours to the job of the installers who are not Subcontractors. This is often used for prevailing wage/government jobs.
- Installer Type: This is a designation, not an installer name (examples: Journeyman, Apprentice)
- Rates: Fill in the ones that are necessary for your organization. This should be the final burdened rate with all fees, benefits, etc., paid out to the installer.
Set up the necessary Classifications before proceeding to the next step.
Employee Record Setup
From the Admin Panel > Click Employee/Subs.
Locate the Employee Record and make the appropriate selection in the Installer Type field. You will notice the values in this list populate from the Hourly Labor Matrix.
