Overview
Some operations use a practice often known as "Positive Pay", wherein they submit a registry/spreadsheet of all checks/payments that were processed within a certain period or on a certain date to their bank so that the bank can verify each check at the time of being deposited OR before it is deposited by the recipient. The practice is largely adopted to prevent any checks from being fraudulently or wrongly processed/deposited.
Because of the abundance of different formatting requirements each bank has for the spreadsheet, the most efficient way to get the necessary data is by exporting the payments registry in the "Bank List" type.
From the Navigator, click on the Bank Accounts screen.
Select the Account from which you need to export the necessary data.
At the top action bar of the AP Payment Transactions screen, click Find.
Enter the desired date/date range in the Date field, select "Accepted" from the drop-down in the Status field, then click Find.
Now that all the Accepted payments made within the date/date range you've specified are isolated, click Export at the top action bar and select "Export Bank" from the drop-down.
In the pop-up message, select "Found Set" to export all the records that have been isolated.
Name the file as desired and select the "Excel Workbooks (*.xlsx)" format from the "Save as type" drop-down.
Locate the locally saved file, then you may either make edits to that spreadsheet to match your bank's required format OR you can copy and paste the necessary data into a pre-approved spreadsheet from your bank.
