Suggested Hardware
The recommended iPads are either an iPad Mini or a regular iPad size. Your iPad must be able to run the most current version of Apple's iOS.
iPad and FileMaker Go Setup
The following instructions will guide you through setting up your iPhone® and iPad® to access your FloorManager and JobRunner database.
**Important Note** some of these steps may require your IT person’s assistance.
FileMaker Go access is not intended to be used as a desktop replacement for running the management software. The iPad/iPhone FM Go is intended to be used to perform processes such as looking up customer information and looking up inventory availability. For cycle counting warehouse materials for adjusting it recommended that clients use the Warehouse Management Module.
iPad® Setup Instructions
Go to the Apps store from the iPad® and search for FileMaker Go and then purchase.
Launch the FileMaker GO app on the iPad®. Click on the “hosts” icon at the bottom. Then click the “hosts” button in the top left corner of the screen.
Click the “+” plus sign button at the top of the screen.
Enter in the External IP address of the server. Click Save button at the top of the screen. This will add to the list of Favorite Hosts.
Now click on the newly added favorite host and you should see a list of database files. Click the one that reads Pacific Solutions.
Use the same Username and Password that you use to login as you do when you are at a standard computer.
The FMGo dashboard will appear. Navigate to system areas from this main navigator.
