Enterprise Financials- Removing Zero Balance Accounts and Making GL Accounts Inactive

These functions exists only in EFS and are not a function of the the core management financial reports.

Marking GL accounts as "do not use" to remove them from the financial statements. Open the Chart of Accounts in EFS. Click on the pencil/paper icon next to the GL Account you wish to make "do not use":

In the editor screen, use the drop down list in the Account Reporting Options section and choose "do not use":

Set the System Setup and Trial Balance setting to  "exclude [do not use] accounts" by checking the check box labeled "exclude [do not use] accounts":

When running the income statement or the balance sheet, set the reporting specification to not include zero accounts by UN checking the "Include zero accounts" check box:
